  • LENTEN BIBLE STUDY: Five Core Stories of the Bible - 

    Continues March 20 from 7-8pm

    Wednesday evenings in Lent will offer the opportunity to learn and reflect on five stories at the heart of the Bible.  No prior knowledge of the Bible is needed!  A light meal will be served at 6pm in the CLC.  An intergenerational table discussion including Confirmation students begins at 6:30pm.  Questions to Pastor David at dheim@alleluia.church

    Volunteers needed

  • KNITTERS & CROCHETERS - Wednesdays through May

    Bring a bag lunch and your knitting and enjoy friendship, food, and knitting/crocheting tips.  We meet at Alleluia! from 12-2pm on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month through May.  Please stop at the church office for a name tag if you don't have one.  Meet us in the Bride's Room near the sanctuary.  Questions to Elaine at elaine.bynum@gmail.com.

    VBS registration for participants and volunteers has begun!

  • LILIES for Our EASTER ALTAR

    You are invited to purchase a lily in honor or memory of a loved one to adorn the altar for our Easter worship services.  If you wish to pick up your plant, please do so after 10:30 Easter worship.  Each plant is $20.  Thank you for helping to beautify our sanctuary!  Click below to order and pay by credit card.  Paper forms are also available at the Welcome Center.

  • ELCA Youth Gathering 2024 - LAST CALL!

    For ALL current high school and 8th grade students!

    The summer 2024 trip will be to the ELCA Youth Gathering CREATED TO BE in New Orleans and will take place the week of July 14th, 2024.  This trip will include service, learning, visiting a new place, and the opportunity to worship in the New Orleans Saints' Stadium with more than 30,000 high schoolers from all over the USA!

  • ALLELUIA! MUSIC NIGHT JAMS - 3rd Thursday of the Month

    On the 3rd Thursday of each month ages high school-adults are invited to join us in the sanctuary for music, a small devotional, fellowship, and snacks!  Talk with the musicians/volunteers to learn more about our music program.  Come watch, talk, or bring your instrument and JAM a time permits!  Questions to Michele Nelson at mnelson@alleluia.church.  Please CLICK HERE to let us know you're coming!

  • GOOD FRIDAY FAMILY EVENT - MARCH 29TH, 10-11AM

    Experience the meaning of Good Friday with totally "kid-friendly" worship.  We will begin in the sanctuary, then move to the Community Life Center for fun and refreshments.  Geared to ages preschool-5th grade.  All are welcome!

  • EASTER EGG HUNTS - Easter Sunday Morning

    Easter Egg Hunts for kids will be held at the following times:

        Sunday, March 31st, 8:45am, before 9:00am worship

        Sunday, March 31st, 11:30am, following 10:30am worship

    Bring your Easter baskets to fill with eggs.  Meet by the lower level playground.

    In case of rain or wet conditions, we'll meet in the lower level rec room.

  • MORTON ARBORETUM OUTING - Sunday, April 7th, 11:45am

    Adults are invited to enjoy God's beauty with a nature walk at the Arboretum. John Garrison, Alleluia! member and Lead Education Guide at the Arboretum, will lead the tour. Meet in the CLC at 11:45 for a boxed lunch ($11.00). We'll carpool to the Arboretum. Tickets are $17 each ($15 for 65+). Rain date is April 14th.   • SPRING SCRAP & STAMP - Saturday, April 13th, 9am-10pm

    Join us for 13 hours of uninterrupted crafting and fellowship!  Come and go as you wish or stay the entire time.  Your $25 entrance fee includes your own 6-ft table, donation to the Alleluia! Women's Ministry, and delicious dinner.  Dress in layers, bring your lunch, drinks, and a snack to share if you wish.  Enter door #5.  There is also an option to scrapbook on April 12th.  Contact scrapnstamp.alleluia@gmail.com with questions.

  • A! BOARD GAME GROUP - Thurs, April 18th

    Meet and greet in the Alleluia! CLC from 6:30-8:30. The plan is to have conversation about what everyone is hoping to get out of the group, followed by simpler "party games" that are easy to teach and learn. A number of games will be provided by the leaders, but you're always welcome to bring games that you'd like to show and teach others. 


    The ABGG will meet monthly, with each session focusing on a particular genre of game. Please contact David Bowler david@bowler-family.com or John Scanlon johniscanlon@gmail.com with questions. 
  • THRIVENT FINANCE WORKSHOP - Sunday, April 21st, 11:30am

    Kevin Jensen of Thrivent, a Christian-based financial services group, will help you ensure a stable financial future, manage savings and credit, and be prepared for financial setbacks.  This workshop will be held at Alleluia! and is designed for young families as well as those planning for retirement.  We will meet in upper level room #267.  A light lunch will be served.

  • GAME NIGHT (ages 21+) - Saturday, April 27th

    Doors open at 5pm.  Games begin at 6pm.

    Our biggest fundraiser of the year!  We have so much fun as we gather in teams to play game show type games.  We’ll have a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and a wine pull.  Each ticket includes 2 drink tickets.  Tickets are on sale through April 21st.

  • MOPS & MOMSnext

    MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers (thru Kindergarten), and MOMSnext is for mothers of kids 1st grade thru age 18.  The purpose of both groups is to encourage women in their role as moms from conception to adulthood.  We meet one to two Friday mornings each month during the school year, 9:15-11:00am, in the Alleluia! Community Life Center.  This year's MOPS theme is, "Say Yes!"  Childcare is not available at this time but kids are welcome at all meetings.
