THE COMPASSION JOURNEY
Have you wondered what life is like
for your Compassion child, or a child living in poverty? You and your
family are invited to step into the life of these children through a hands-on
experience called The Compassion Journey Sept. 28-29 at Alleluia!.
Register online at journey.compassion.com/events/71 or walk-in for this 15-20 minute
audio-guided trip through six learning stations that share the environments and
some of the unique challenges that face those growing up under the weight of
extreme poverty. The Compassion Journey is free and appropriate for all ages.
Compassion’s mission is to “release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.” Through Compassion, you can sponsor a
child who can benefit from Compassion’s programs, which enable the physical, social, economic and spiritual
development needed to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. As a
sponsor you will have the opportunity to support your child through prayers,
letters, birthday cards and Christmas gifts. Alleluia! has partnered with
Compassion to sponsor children in Peru.

each week, and depend on a network of over 1000 volunteers to collect, sort,
stock shelves, and assist clients. Loaves & Fishes also partners with local
organizations to offer a holistic approach to meet the needs of those they
serve offering services in areas such as nutrition, mental health, employment
assistance and skills, financial and computer literacy, and language
